Michelle Doonan will make her return to DLR Waves for the 2025 season, as she was confirmed to be the first signing ahead of the new season.
Doonan scored 10 goals for The Waves in her stint with the club, 4 of which came last season. Michelle departed DLR during the Summer transfer window to join Peamount United, who were preparing to play UWCL football.
The forward is comfortable as a number 9 or wide forward. Doonan has a high workrate and plenty of pace which causes problems for opposing defences.
We welcome Michelle back to DLR Waves and look forward to seeing her hit the back of the net in the new season.
