Michelle Doonan signed for DLR Waves in 2023 having previously played for Peamount United. The striker scored 10 goals for The Waves in her first spell with the club which lasted from the start of the 2023 season until Summer transfer window in 2024. After a brief spell back with at Peamount United, where they played UWCL football, she would return to DLR following the completion of the 2024 season.
Michelle is a forward with a lot of pace who can play in the number 9 role or on the wing. She has a high workrate throughout the 90 minutes up front. Michelle scored the first goal of 2024 for DLR Waves
