DLR Waves 0-0 Bohemians
UCD Bowl, Saturday 29th July
DLR Waves created chances but couldn’t find the net as a tight Dublin derby ended scoreless.
With the TG4 cameras on the UCD Bowl The Waves were the better side going forward with Rachel Kelly the busier of the two goalkeepers. The Bohs goalkeeper was called into action in injury time with Michelle Doonan through on goal. The latter stages of the match saw both sides have chances, but Waves created more throughout the game.
Keelin Dodd was the star of the show for DLR Waves and was awarded player of the match. She put in a great all-around performance in midfield and contributed to chances going forward.
Elsewhere Jess Gleeson and Chloe McCarthy were once again a solid partnership and ensured Bohemians were limited in their chances. Nadine Seward was effective on the wing and created a lot going forward.
It was one that got away for The Waves but there were plenty of positive signs for the home side with a well-organized display.

DLR Waves return to the UCD Bowl this Saturday to take on Athlone Town. The two sides met earlier in the season with Athlone winning the game. Kick-off is at 3pm, tickets will be on sale shortly.
