DLR Waves can confirm that the following players will not be re-signing with the club for 2025:
- Nicole Keogh
- Ruth McDonnell
- Freya Roche
- Nadine Seward
Ruth McDonnell has made a permanent transfer to Carlow Kilkenny FC. While Nadine Seward, Nicole Keogh, and Freya Roche are all stepping back from football due to college and work commitments.
Beofre the end of the season The Waves also confirmed the departures of Hannah Tobin Jones and Oleta Griffin.
Nicole Keogh had been the longest serving senior player at DLR Waves having signed in 2019. Ruth McDonnell was involved in underage coaching. Freya Roche was a big part of the senior teams attack from 2023 up until injury midway through 2024. Nadine Seward signed at the beggining of the 2024 season and became a consistent presence on the wing.
