In exciting off the field news, DLR Waves are delighted to announce the appointment of Jill Downey as the clubs new Commercial Director.
Jill is the Chief Sponsorship and Sustainability Officer in Core Ireland’s largest marketing communications company, working with some of the countries biggest brands and sporting organisations. Jill is involved in some of the most impactful sponsorhips in the market including Sky’s award winning sponsorship of the Women’s and Men;s National Football Teams, and has worked on commercial sports strategies for Tallaght Stadium and Dalymount Park, among others.
Speaking about her appointment, Jill said:
I’m really excited to take on this role and give back to my local community and local club.
DLR Waves has an exciting future, a brilliant team both on and off the field and we have big ambitions, so I’m excited to see where we can take the club in the near future
