The League of Ireland Women’s Premier Division kicks off this Saturday and DLR Waves open their campaign against Shamrock Rovers at the UCD Bowl. The game kick’s off at 3pm.

This fixture was Waves last home game of the season in 2023. The match saw Shamrock Rovers win 1-3. Shamrock Rovers finished in 3rd place in the Premier Division last year. Their team on the day will likely feature Amanda Budden, Stephanie Zambra and Áine O’Gorman who have all been capped for Ireland, with O’Gorman featuring in the World Cup for the Girls in Green. Their squad also includes underage international Joy Ralph who signed from DLR Waves last Summer. We will also play Shamrock Rovers in the All-Island Cup group stage, with the venue TBD.
Please note that current UCD students who present a valid student card can attend games for free. A valid student card must be presented at the gate.
