Rachel Doyle is in her 2nd spell with the club under the current name, having started he league career at the teams predecessor UCD Waves. Doyle had a spell at Peamount United before joining DLR Waves in the Summer of 2018. She grew into a pivotal part of the senior team and acted as vice-captain. In the Summer of 2022 Rachel moved to Bohemians, before taking a break from football at the beginning of the 2024 season. Doyle re-signed with The Waves during the Summer transfer window.
Rachel is an experienced creative midfielder who is hugely influential from deep-lying and more advanced positions. She is an intelligent playmaker with excellent vision and a high workrate.
