Rugile Auskalnyte is a talented goalkeeper who has been capped for Ireland at underage level. The Lithuanian born shot stopper made her senior debut for Waves in June 2022 against Bohemians, with 2 further appearances that season. Towards the end of the 2023 season Auskalnyte had a run of games in the Premier Division. The Lithuanian Lightning Bolt has proven a very capable keeper at a young age. In 2024 Auskalnyte made her highest number of appearances for DLR Waves in one season, appearing 10 times in all competitions.
Rugile was ruled out for the majority of the 2025 season through injury.
