Eve Badana is an Ireland international goalkeeper and our vice captain. Eve arrived in the league in 2016 and played for Cork City for 3 campaigns. The Canadian born goalie joined DLR Waves in the Summer of 2019. With multiple player of the match awards and several appearances in the official team of the season, Eve has been a vital player for Waves over the years and was named as DLR Waves player of the year at the end of the 2023 season. Badana has been capped for Ireland 4 times, most recently appearing in a Pinatar Cup game against Wales in 2022.
As of the 2025 season, Eve is the longest serving DLR Waves senior player. The 2025 campaign will be her 7th for The Waves, and significantly the Toronto native has had the longest stint of any player in the senior Waves side.
