As we approach the end of the 2024 season the club can confirm that Oleta Griffin and Hannah Tobin Jones will depart the club at the end of the month.
Oleta Griffin is stepping back from football to focus on her studies. The centre-back returned to The Waves at the Beginning of the 2023 season having also had a previous spell with the club.
Hannah Tobin Jones is taking time out from football to go traveling. The versatile defender joined The Waves in 2023 and was part of the Irish backroom staff at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Both defenders were a big part of the club on and off the pitch over the past two seasons. They both worked hard at DLR Waves and were excellent team players.
